What steps have River Valley Endodontics taken to protect patients from COVID-19?

Though we are always dedicated to keeping the office clean and sanitary, we have taken additional steps for safety in response to the pandemic. All of our team members wash their hands with disinfectant hand soap before and after seeing a patient. We always follow universal precautions such as wearing gloves, face masks, and eyeglasses. In addition to this, you may also notice additional personal protective equipment such as face shields, etc. We change these items between appointments to ensure you stay protected.

We regularly clean and disinfect high-contact areas in the office, such as doorknobs and countertops at the front desk. Likewise, our sterilization procedures for all equipment utilizes the most effective high-temperature steam dental autoclaves. Whenever possible, we incorporate single-use disposables into our care to ensure clean and safe treatment of our patients.

What can patients expect when coming in for an appointment?

You can look forward to excellent customer service and great care from the River Valley Endodontics team during your appointment. There’s no reason to put off your treatment any longer especially if you have pain or dental emergencies. We have taken all the steps necessary to make sure you stay healthy and safe in our office.

We put great thought into the way we approach endodontic care, particularly amid COVID-19 concerns. We want to make sure that our staff and patients all stay safe during this challenging time. When you arrive for your appointment, our front desk staff will ask you questions about your health, whether you have been exposed to the virus. To mitigate the risk of COVID spread to the staff and other patients we will also check your temperature and blood oxygen saturation percentage to make sure you are healthy enough to receive the dental treatment. If you see that someone is already checking in at the front desk please follow the social distancing guidelines to maintain a safe distance from others. If you think you have symptoms of COVID or exposed to someone else with COVID recently please call our office to reschedule your appointment.
